Recipe - if you can even call it that:
- Buy a bag of split peas.
- Bring to a boil with 10 cups of water.
- Add ham hock and seasonings (I like cumin, celery salt, salt, pepper and nutmeg) and simmer for 1-4 hours.
- Remove ham hock and tear off little bits of ham adding them back into the pot.
- Serve. Store. Etc.
